Bristol, Bath and the surrounding counties have produced some of the UK's finest jazz performers and continue to be a centre for high quality music including jazz, swing, blues, latin and more.

International artists

Many musicians from, or based in, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire are well-known both nationally and internationally, as solo artists or for the work they have done with high-profile international artists and bands including Burt Bacharach, Ella Fitzgerald, Elton John, Crowded House and many more.

Seeing and booking them

This collection of talent means that there is a number of excellent jazz singers, jazz bands and swing bands based in the area, many of whom feature top quality musicians but who are available for hire for functions and events.  It is one of the few places where you could see a musician playing at a major festival one week and at a wedding the next.
